Bonney: Disneyland Employee Dies Golf Cart Accident


Disneyland Cast Member Death She was Bonnye Mavis Lear of Fullerton was 60 years old and according to Orange County COroner’s Spokesperson Sgt. Frank Gonzalez, was employed in the theme park for around 24 years and recently joined Club 33, which offers the exclusive offer at Disneyland. The membership features include many private dining clubs from inside the theme parks and come with the facility to enjoy the rides by avoiding the crowd.

A Disneyland employee lost her life on 7 June 2024, the injuries in on her head. The identity Bonnye Mavis Lear was 60 years old at the time of death, The incident occurred on Wednesday 05 June, when she fell from the golf cart. The Anaheim Police Department, along with the fire rescue personnel, immediately responded to the collision incident on 05 June at 11:30 am.

What did reporters say?

There were three more passengers in the cart, and she was in the rear-facing seat. As reported by a Hollywood reporter the cart is traveling at the speed of 20mph and continued. The golf cart cast came into contact with a dump in the road, which caused Bonney to react immediately. As she went to grab the handrail gave it away and sent her out of the vehicle.

When police reached the location, they discovered Lear fell off a moving golf cart and hit her head. Bonney was transported to the hospital and the injuries on the fractured skull and brain swelling. Despite the surgery, she died on the second day after injuries on 7 June (Wednesday),  according to the Anaheim Police Department. 

What Happened After Bonney Mavis Lear Fall From The Golf Cart

A Disneyland Employee died after falling from the Golf card at the theme park in Anaheim. The accident happened around 11:30 (Wednesday), June 05, near the intersection of West Ball Road and Southwest Street within Disneyland Private Club 33. 

Ken Patrick, president of the Disneyland Resort, expressed his condolences in a shared statement, according to CBS. They were concentrated on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and taking care of the resources they needed. This happening was looked into by the Anaheim Police Department, no other information has been released as of yet, and the precise reason for the accident is still being investigated. After that accident, there is more safety precautions, especially about the golf cart use. Disneyland has not yet provided any remarks, CBS has said.
