Wiliam  Henry Donaldson was a one-time Wall Street insider who overhauled the Exchange Commission and securities. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), passed away on June 12, at the age of 93. Donaldson was a prominent figure in the financial industry, known for his leadership roles at the SEC and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

He was also the founding dean of the Yale School of Management and a pioneer in the field of investment banking, co-founding Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) in 1969. As a chairman during a two-year term in the 2000s,  by the Collapse of behemoth Enron, pointed the oversight and helped stabilize demands after corporate deception was disgraced.
